Hi, I’m Meagan Fischer, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist Candidate
I completed my Bachelors of Arts at The University of Texas at Tyler in 2014 and continued on at the university to get my Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2018.
Through both my professional and personal experience, I have developed a passion for working with adolescents and young adults, in both an individual and group setting, who are struggling with self-esteem issues, body distortions, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and trauma.
During my higher educational career, I completed my internship at Behavioral Health Center in Tyler, Texas and worked primarily with mood disorders. Since becoming an LPC, I have worked in Tyler, Texas with eating disorders and trauma in an outpatient private practice setting and with sexual assault as a sexual assault counselor in a non-profit setting.
